Energy from Emptiness — Discovering Power Through Fasting.

Power of Emptiness

After completing my water fasting for Kanda Sasthi Viratham, my body and mind began to feel lighter than ever. There was a deep sense of clarity, calmness, and energy flowing within. I didn’t want to lose that beautiful state of balance, so I decided to continue the fasting mode — this time with one meal a day.

I began this journey on 28th October 2025, and it’s going perfectly well. I take my only meal between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., a simple, purely vegetarian meal. What surprises me is that I don’t feel hungry at all for the rest of the day. My body has adapted beautifully.

There are moments, especially after 6 p.m., when a little hunger appears — but I simply have a cup of natural care tea with a bit of milk and sugar. That’s enough. I see even hunger as just another wave that rises and falls — if I watch it patiently, it disappears.

Every day feels successful, peaceful, and powerful. I continue my morning gym workouts, play badminton daily, and even do my evening push-ups and abs training. My energy hasn’t dropped; instead, it feels more alive and stable than before.

Eating once a day has made life so simple. No confusion about what to eat or when to eat — just one mindful meal, filled with gratitude. The rest of the time, the body is free, the mind is silent, and energy flows effortlessly.

Interestingly, my six-pack abs have started to become more visible than ever before. I’ve worked hard for years trying to achieve this — even tried fat burner tablets, which only drained my energy and wasted money. But now, without any supplements, my abs are naturally becoming defined through fasting, discipline, and clean living. It’s a living proof that when the body is in balance, it reveals its true strength.

Now, after completing eight days, I still have forty days ahead. But it no longer feels like a challenge — it feels like a meditation.

This journey is not just about food or fasting — it’s about awareness, discipline, and inner balance. The less I feed my body unnecessarily, the more I feed my soul with silence.
